Telepathic Beckoning

I ran out into the night
Searching for something
Which I couldn’t define
As if the stars themselves had summoned me.
My soul knew emptiness,
Sought fulfilment
But from whom? From what?
I did not know.
I just knew I had to go…
Somewhere.
I wandered the streets
Searching
An energy was pulling me
But the streets were empty
Quiet, not a soul in sight
Until
I came upon a corridor
Where he stood, under a street light
As if he’d been waiting for me.
Our eyes met in a moment of eternity
And as if communicating telepathically,
Information exchanged rapidly,
With a look that enticed me to follow
He turned, knowing I would
But to where?
I didn’t care..
I inherently knew
He was sent to me and I to he
For adventures to pursue
And elation to be.
